The brains behind the business
Trevor Carey boasts more than 30 years’ experience in the pest control industry, having started out in his family’s hawking business, after leaving school aged 18. He remained there for more than a decade, helping to deter nuisance birds with this entirely natural form of pest control.
Trevor joined a global pest control giant and underwent extensive training, learning everything from cockroach control in large commercial units to bedbug control in both business and domestic settings. In his nine years at the company, he worked his way up, becoming a reliable and trusted senior Service Technician in the professional pest control sector.
Trevor launched Kent & London Pest Control.
A member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and BASIS PROMPT, an independent industry and government recognised registered for professional pest controllers, Trevor holds all the necessary licences for professional pest control in the UK, including a RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management. He is also fully insured.
For Trevor, every day is different. One day, he could be scaring feral pigeons out of aircraft hangers with innovative and effective pigeon control measures. And the next? Fitting rat deterrents or conducting a spider removal service for a London or Kent-based local.
Trevor prides himself on getting the job done — and to the best of his ability. He doesn't just banish pests from your home or place of work. But he conducts a thorough investigation, to get to the bottom of the problem and prevent these pests from taking up residence once more. This could be via adding pigeon netting and spiking to commercial properties, proofing homes and office spaces, or conducting drain surveys.

Away from his pest control business, Trevor enjoys spending quality time with his son and he’s never too far away from his hawk, Phoenix, who he has kept by his side for the past seven years.
